The events team is looking for volunteers!
If you are interested in volunteering for Summer Kickoff, please click the button below. High School students can receive volunteer hours for their service! The events staff is looking for volunteers to ensure attendees have tickets before entering the ride, sell ride tickets, and assist in monitoring the fire line.
Volunteers will get a free t-shirt and meal voucher!

Road Closure Information

Windmill Drive will be closing from Ashburn Farm Parkway to Thistlewood Court at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 24th, until after the fireworks, approximately 9:45 pm that evening. Detours and directions will be posted and enforced by Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The parking lots for Windmill Pool, Windmill Tennis Courts, and Ashburn Farm Association Office will be closing at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 23rd. No cars will be allowed in these lots until after Saturday's event. If you go to Windmill Pool on Saturday, please park past Thistlewood Court on Windmill Drive or other legal street-side parking.

Crittenden Park parking lot will be closed at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 24th. Please do not use that lot for parking on Saturday. TOWING WILL BE ENFORCED.
Day Of- Things To Know

The tennis courts at Windmill will be closing at 4:00 pm on Friday. All other courts remain open.

There will be a shuttle service from Breezyhill Pool Parking Lot and Summerwood Pool Parking Lot starting at 4 PM the day of the event and going till 10 PM.

All ticket tables are cash only. Denominations of $20 or less will be accepted.

If wishing to purchase beer and wine at the event please bring a valid ID. Wristbands will be issued and alcohol must be consumed in designated area only.

Food, rides, and alcohol service will end at 8:45 pm. Face Paint will end at 8 pm.

No outside fireworks are permitted.

No outside alcohol is permitted.

No motorized scooters or bikes are permitted during the event.

No fishing at Windmill Pond.

No Smoking.

Ride Information
Rides will be cash only and using a ticket system this year. You can purchase tickets at our ticket booths in front of the ride area. Tickets will start at $1. Please note: Denominations of $20 or less will be accepted. We cannot break $50 or $100 bills.

The 2025 Summer Kickoff band will be Generic Sound! In their own words, they describe themselves as: "This group has veteran players that can play anything from good old country to classic rock ‘n’ roll to rhythm and blues. Let us take you down memory lane."

Alcohol Information
Beer and wine will be available for purchase at our garden entrance. Please bring your ID to receive a wristband. Beer & wine will be $5 per cup. No outside drinks are allowed on the property. Tickets are cash only.

My favorite part about Summer Kickoff is seeing the event come to life. We spend months planning and preparing for the event and it is so great to see all the residents enjoy it!
