The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging is the central point of contact for older persons and their families.  The agency offers Elder Choices (information, assistance, care coordination and service planning, home delivered meals, senior centers (see below), etc. 

 

Senior Centers offer a wide range of Recreational, educational and cultural opportunities for senior citizens.   Day and overnight trips coordinated through the Senior Center at Cascades are available for residents age 55 and above.  Senior centers at Cascades and Leesburg offer fitness equipment, computer classes and much more.  Limited transportation is available from participant homes to the nearest senior center in  Arcola, Leesburg, Purcellville or Sterling. Senior Centers

Arcola Senior Center

 

The center offers a fitness center, classes, outings and social activities for those 55 and older.  There is a daily lunch at noon.  Home-delivered meals available.

The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services has announced that the Arcola Community Center and Arcola Senior Activity Center relocated from the old Arcola Elementary School to a permanent location in South Riding effective June 9, 2008. The move represents Phase I of the new Dulles South Multipurpose Center which includes approximately 24,000 square feet for classrooms, meeting rooms, a large multipurpose room, an activities room, indoor recreation area, restrooms and offices.

The Dulles South Multipurpose Center is located at 24950 Riding Center Drive. Normal community center operations have resumed. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with varying hours on Saturday. The new phone number is 571-258-3456.

The phone number for the Dulles South Senior Activity Center is 571-258-3883. Normal operating hours will be 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.
