Windmill Ballfield Scheduling Guidelines

The Windmill Ball field is available for Ashburn Farm residents to use during daylight hours on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations can be made by residents, if desired, for special events. Please note that due to the popularity of field usage we may not be able to fulfill every request. Check the schedule to see if the time you want to reserve it for is available and fill out the reservation form and return it to the Association Office.
 
Team requests for reservations and general usage must include a Certificate of Insurance with the initial reservation and a start and end-time for the field usage must be provided. Residents can use the field prior to the start time of a reservation and after the end time of a reservation. (These facilities are always closed after dark) and cannot be used at any time for-profit by any businesses.

Breezyhill Multi-Purpose Athletic Field

Located at the Breezyhill Recreation Area (off Hay  Road), the Breezyhill Field is perfect for soccer, lacrosse, football, etc.  This field is available for use by all Ashburn Farm residents during non-scheduled League times on a first-come, first-served basis.  This field cannot be used after dark.  Leagues requesting reserved time on this field must submit the team's insurance certificate and must obtain approval from Ashburn Farm Association prior to using the fields.  Click here for the current spring schedule posted for the Breezyhill field. Leagues/Clubs/Teams using Ashburn Farm Athletic Fields must show proof of 501(c)3 (non-profit status) or the letter showing that 501(c)3 status is in review from the IRS.  Click here for the Field Use Rules and Application for Field Use.


 

Wintergrove Multi-Purpose Athletic Field

Located off Wintergrove Drive and Gatwick Square (43153 Wintergrove Drive), this field is available for use by all Ashburn Farm residents on a first-come, first-served basis. This field cannot be used after dark.

Sand Volleyball Court

Located off Wintergrove Drive and Gatwick Square, the volleyball court is available for use by all Ashburn Farm residents on a first-come first-served basis - no league play or reservations.  The court may not be used after dark.

County Parks in Ashburn

 

There are two County-run parks in Ashburn as well:

Ashburn Park: 43645 Partlow Road, Ashburn.  Playground areas, picnic pavilion and tables, nature trail.  16 acres.  Telephone: 703-777-0343. 

Trailside Park: 20375 Claiborne Parkway.  Lighted baseball/softball field, two lighted Little League/softball fields, playground, in-line hockey court and restroom - concession kiosk.  20 acres.  Telephone: 703-777-0343.
