Ashburn Farm Association will inspect the property as required by the Virginia Property Owner's Association Act.

Note to Condominium Homeowners  

 

If you require a Disclosure package for a condo - you must apply for a Disclosure package through the Ashburn Farm Association using the form above, AND contact your condo management firm for a Condo Disclosure package.

 


Verification of Townhome Street Maintenance

 

Periodically, the Association Office receives calls from lending companies wanting the documentation from the covenants that specifies the Association is responsible for certain areas of Maintenance such as - streets or roads in Common Areas.  Click here to obtain a copy of Page 42 of the official covenants for this documentation.

 


 

Notary services are provided at the Ashburn Farm Association Office. If you need a document notarized, please call ahead to insure the agent is available and that this service is available. There is a $5.00 charge for each notary service performed.  Payment is expected at the time of service.

 


New Resident Handbooks

If you are a new Ashburn Farm homeowner (3 months or less) feel free to drop by the Association Office and ask for a New Resident handbook.  This handbook was developed to familiarize new families to the Ashburn Farm Community.

 


 

 

 

Disclosure Documents (Selling Your Home)


The Disclosure Request form is used to order the appropriate Homeowners Documents for selling your home.  The form can be downloaded by clicking on the link in the left column and returning the completed form with payment to the Association Office.  Below are explanations of the fields that need to be addressed.    

 

Seller/Owner Name: 

Name of the homeowner's.

 

Property Address:

This should be the house number & street name where the home is located in Ashburn Farm.

 

Settlement Date:

Supply the date if available.  If not available, leave blank or indicate N/A.

 

Settlement Company:

Provide the settlement company name (this is where you go to settle on the property). As in the above, if this is not available at the time the request for the Homeowner Disclosure packet is requested - leave blank or indicate N/A.

 

Contact Information: (Important!)

This is the contact information the Association Staff uses to provide notification to when the package is completed and ready to be picked up. You can supply multiple phone numbers as applicable - i.e., Home Phone, Cell Phone, etc.

Date:

The date the form is signed.

 

The Disclosure Request form can be faxed to the Association Office at 703-729-0247.  However, the request will not be processed until payment is received. Payment (cash or check only - payable to AFA) is required before processing the request. All Disclosure Packets MUST be picked up and signed for at the Ashburn Farm Association Office (no packages are mailed). You will be notified by phone when the packet is completed and ready to be picked up. This process requires 14 calendar days from the date the request is received by the Association Office.

 

The cost for a new request is $200.00 (non-refundable) - cash or check only - for Single Family, Townhomes (Townhomes inlclude "Patio Homes").  Disclosure packets for Condo's is $100.00 because there is no external inspection done by the Ashburn Farm Association on this type of property.  An update to the original package is $50.00.

PUD (Planned Unit Development) Questionnaires


Questionnaires, usually required for refinancing purposes, are to be faxed to the Association Office 703-729-0247. The fee and turnaround are noted below (effective October 5, 2005):

Note:  Additional charges may apply if requests are received for a 24 - hour turnaround. Call ahead 703-729-6680 for more information.

 

Companies can fax the questionnaire, and a "copy" of the check to 703-729-0247 (Attention Cheri).  The check can then be sent overnight delivery to the association office (21400 Windmill Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147).  When the check is received the finalized questionnaire will then be faxed to the requested source along with a copy of the Certificate of Insurance for the Common Area and the Association's budget information.
