Executive Sessions

 

Executive sessions are closed sessions.  Most executive sessions are held after the regular meeting. The Board of Trustees or any subcommittee or other committee thereof may convene in executive session:

 

Ø    To consider personnel matters

Ø    To consult with legal counsel

Ø    To discuss and consider contracts

Ø    To discuss and consider pending or probable litigation

Ø    To discuss and consider matters involving violations of the declaration or rules and regulations adopted pursuant  thereto.

 

Procedures for using executive (closed) sessions

 

Ø    I hereby move that the Board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing and considering "topic".

Ø    The motion should be seconded, passed, and recorded in the minutes.

Ø    Discussion in executive session must be limited to subject (s) covered by the motion above.

Ø    Any decisions relating to the topic discussed must be made by motion and voted on in open session.
