Please
don't throw away your ballots this year! Your vote will absolutely
make a difference in how Ashburn Farm operates.
Our family has lived in Ashburn Farm since 2004 and we have been
active in the community as volunteers and participants in every event
we can squeeze into our schedule. Some of you may know me from when I
wrote the Living in LoCo column(http://loudounextra.washingtonpost.com/blogs/living-loco/2007/nov/30/so-long-loco-readers/)
for the Washington Post and delved into the issues that affect our
community every day. That was also when I learned what a significant
difference the board members make in all the homeowners' associations
throughout Loudoun.
I am running for a board position this year because I know that
residents are often too busy to keep up with the myriad of issues and
I want to be able to represent the interests of those who moved to
Ashburn Farm for the community and quality of life that provides such
a great value to all of us.
I have more than 16 years of professional work experience and am
currently Vice President of Editorial at Publish2, Inc. A former
college athlete and high school coach, I am passionate about sports,
especially lacrosse, and enjoy hitting the trails and parks with my
husband, Brian, and our two children, who attend Cedar Lane
Elementary.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to the opportunity to serve
you on the Ashburn Farm Board of Trustees.
