I am the current President of the Board of Trustees and am seeking your vote for re-election. This year, I will complete my 8^th year serving on the Board.  During my tenure, I have served one year as Treasurer and 4 years as your Board President.  I am also the board liaison for the Association’s Events Committee and have worked very closely with the Budget and Finance committee this year to keep our assessments to a minimum without sacrificing our quality of life.

 

I live in Ashburn Farm with my husband and 2 daughters and have lived in the Farm for 12 years.  I am a first grade teacher at Cedar Lane Elementary.  I believe that Ashburn Farm is a great community and a wonderful place to live and raise kids. 

 

I was an active member of the Board when our community went from developer control to a majority homeowner control.  I believe I would continue to be a valuable asset as the community moves from a majority homeowner control to an all homeowner control this year.  I have established good relationships with members of the Association Staff, several local area homeowner’s association presidents and local vendors.  I have worked with, and will continue to work with residents to address your concerns, implement solutions and enhance our community. I bring a great deal of experience to contribute should I be re-elected to the board. I look forward to the opportunity to serve the Ashburn Farm Community for another term.
