Eric Hornberger (Elected for Term 4/09-4/11)

Great amenities, community schools, relative affordability and friendly neighbors, this is what attracted my family to Ashburn Farm in 2004. As a father of three school-age children, I seek to bring a fresh perspective to our HOA leadership team. I want to serve on our Board of Trustees to represent and champion the interests of our families.

Most of my life has been spent serving and representing the needs of others. I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer right out of college and managed a program at Peace Corps headquarters upon my return. While a resident of Arlington, I served on the Neighborhood Conservation Advisory Committee to help advise the county on public funding for community projects. I currently work as Executive Director of a private foundation, administering an annual budget of $5-$10 million to fund charitable grassroots initiatives worldwide. I am also actively advocating for our community in the school boundary process through Ashburn Farm Parents United. Serving and representing the interests of our community is something I care passionately about.

It takes a lot of work to keep our neighborhood a great place to live and raise a family, as well as insure that the needs and interests of Ashburn Farm are heard within our county. We need energy and vision within our HOA to make that happen. I am willing and eager to serve our community in this way, but need your support to do it.
