Ponds are decorative additions to single family houses.  In the interest of the safety of the homeowners or neighborhood children, the installation requirements for ponds or multi-levels of ponds will also have to address safety concerns. Ponds should be located behind the rear plane of the house.  Ponds are not permitted in the front yard of the property. The ARB recommends that property line fencing be installed for the backyard area and that the pond be installed at least five (5) feet from the side and rear property lines.  Landscaping with shrubbery should be considered around the pond sides closest to the property line.

Townhome ponds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
