As part
of new construction by a homeowner, gutters must match or complement the
existing trim color or area of the house to which they are attached.
Extensions of down spouts at ground level are discouraged because of
drainage considerations on adjoining properties and common area. All down
spout extensions must be buried in such a manner to adequately manage
runoff, according to correct engineering practices and local codes. New
gutters require an application.
Replacement gutters and down spouts must match or compliment the existing
trim color or area of the house to which they are attached. They must not
adversely affect drainage on adjacent properties. If the replacement
gutters/downspouts conform to this criterion, no application is necessary.
Should there be any variance an EAA must be submitted.
New
technology gutters that prevent leaf backup or that distribute rainfall
along the length of the gutter may be approved if the visual design is
similar to the original gutter.
