Permanent flagpoles must be of a height, color and location that is appropriate for the size of the property and the background.  Permanent freestanding flagpoles may be approved only for single-family houses by application and must be installed and maintained in a vertical position.

Application Requirements:

• Exterior Alteration Application (EAA) filled out in its entirety. |Instructions| |EAA Form|

• The application must include a description of the material, color and dimensions of the freestanding flagpole.

Temporary flagpole staffs do not need ARB approval if they are no longer than six feet and attached at an incline to the front wall or pillar of the house or dwelling.
